Our Story

Founded by Craig Tidswell, Frailty Fighters, is a movement born from frontline experience and a deep commitment to cultural change in how we support older adults. As a qualified Occupational Therapist and NASM Personal Trainer, Frailty Fighters blends clinical insight with practical strength-based strategies to empower individuals and communities.

The Frailty Fighter vision was forged during my time on the frailty team in emergency healthcare, where I witnessed first hand the devastating impact of hospital overwhelm, deconditioning, poorer outcomes, and rising mortality. These traumatic experiences sparked a bold response — a prevention-first approach that challenges reactive systems and champions proactive care.

Frailty Fighters educates, strengthens, and supports older adults to move more, live better, and thrive in the decade ahead. Our work is rooted in empathy, evidence, and a belief that mobility, connection, and education are the keys to independence and longevity.

Craig Tidswell

I'm Craig Tidswell, a HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with 13 years of clinical experience and over 20 years of personal training expertise — a combination that sets Frailty Fighters apart.

I founded Frailty Fighters to give older adults in Warrington and the North West access to expert, personalised OT without the wait. Working 1:1 in your own home, I combine clinical rehabilitation with evidence-based strength and conditioning to help you rebuild confidence, regain mobility, and stay independent after illness, injury, or a decline in function.

My approach is always tailored to the individual — because real recovery isn't one-size-fits-all.
